History and Future
History and Future At the time in 1920 when Heinrich Vorwald went into business with a forge in Hilter near Osnabrück he certainly not anticipates that a world wide acting company would grown out of this. In the beginning wooden vehicles and machines of the surrounding agriculture has been repaired.
Later the company has been switched to the production of woodworking machines. Panel saws, double-end tenoners and similar products brought the company to a great boom.
The woodworking machines followed the generation of expansion units for the paper, plastic and aluminium industry. For a lot of expansion units patents and utility models has been arranged.
By bringing the products into the market Vorwald has grown from an initial craft business to a middle-class, world wide acting industrial company with an international clientele. In the following years Vorwald further expanded and so in 1987 the foreign branch Vorpa in Hungary has been established.
In 1997 Vorwald and Vorpa have been integrated in the Neuenhauser business group. By this integration the product line has been extended considerably and due to modern capacities of processing the full existing innovative potential has been exploit.
If the label Vorwald today takes a global top position it is the result of permanent adaptation to the actual applications and its consequent conversion at the product. So Vorwald has acquired the widest range of products in this branch. A world wide distribution system and international connections grant that at all dynamical development the interests of the customer are always focus of all efforts.
So today the name Vorwald stands for that progress which results from reliable tradition, long-standing know-how, continuous progression or rather improvement and application confirming production.
